The White House and Boeing announced the availability of the large Dreamlifter cargo aircraft to fly COVID-19 supplies on March 27; a month later it made its first flight, utilizing less than 6% of its capacity to carry PPE.
We can't know until after the fact, but there are some indicators we may have hit the bottom this week.
Yesterday's busiest airports were DFW, ORD, MEM, ATL, CLT, DEN, LAX, SDF, PHX, and ANC; Air Canada, American, GoJet, SkyWest, Mesa hit new post-crisis lows, as did IAH, JFK and SFO.
Nearly all US and Canadian passenger airlines set new post-crisis traffic records over the weekend - we haven't bottomed out yet.
